For the last two years Children’s Links and West Lindsey District Council playrangers project have brought you an extreme event for young people (10plus) in the summer holidays.

This year we are pleased to announce we have joined forces with Lincolnshire County Council C4YP
(connecting young people in Lincolnshire)to provide and even bigger and better and more extreme day of activities that will be free of charge.  

The event is also open this year to families and there will be activities to suit a range of ages from
birth to 10 years old with many agencies who provide services for these groups attending.  

The event will be held at the Lincolnshire showground and Epic centre where we have secured a large outdoor space and indoor exhibition hall with toilet and catering facilities.

Following consultation with young people expect to see the usual range of extreme activities we have always offered from climbing walls to zorbs, bungee runs to trampolining, giant slides and inflatables as well as this year music from up and coming bands, water walls, sumo suits, go karts  wheelchair sports, play activities, arts and crafts, relaxation therapies for stressed parents and youth leaders!

The West Lindsey playrangers team will be  looking to get as many young people from West Lindsey to the event as we can and are now taking bookings to assess the demand for transport from them and support these groups with free transport to and from the event from pick up points across West Lindsey if they are unable to get there independently.

There will also be some free transport from Lincoln to the showground in minibuses and you are of course free to make your own way there. 
 
Please feel free to pass on the information and the poster to your contacts as the event is not just for young people this year and open to families in all 7 of the districts of Lincolnshire.  

Snacks and drinks will be available on site, or bring a packed lunch, you will need a change of clothes if you intend to go on the water slide and sensible footwear to suit the activities.
