A series of Community Matters events were held by Children’s Links aimed specifically for those working within the children’s sector, as a workforce development opportunity and sharing of best practice. Recruitment is often a costly process which can be unexpected and sometimes not budgeted for. The cost to businesses, is not only financial but often timely as well, so it is important to get it right and to get the best person for the job. To help with recruitment strategy, Children’s Links have designed a useful ‘Community Matters in Recruitment’ toolkit.
