Children's Links has years of experience of leading programmes of preventative work
with 8-12 year olds and their communities. JYIP (junior Youth Inclusion Programme)
is a preventative programme developed in the early 2000s working with 8-12 yr olds
who are at risk of social exclusion and or at risk of being involved in
crime/anti-social behaviour. Many Local Authorities are now carrying out
these activities as part of their mainstream work, but Children's Links offers
a consultancy, evaluation and audit service to Local Authorities concerning
these services.
