Playtime, a regional conference for frontline play professionals in the East Midlands, was organised by
Children's Links.

The conference was designed for people who provide on the ground delivery in a range of play settings.  The aim was to provide them with practical examples of good practice both regionally and nationally.

The 100 delegates attending were provided with ideas and guidance for developing better and more stimulating  play environments.  Workshops and speakers included Paddy Ashdown MP, Play England, Woodland Play, Fun with Bangra, Arts Play and Techno Play.

East of England Playranger launch

This session was organised with Play England to launch their local network to promote and share best practice. It was held near Mildenhall and made use of the fantastic woodland setting. Outdoor sessions included a practical workshop around dynamic risk assessment, creative ideas using sticks and string and interesting, easy to carry out consultations.
