The visit funded by the Coastal Action Zone saw a group of 9 including 4 young people and I visit a youth project running near the Swedish city of Gothenburg. The project sees a panel of young people giving small pots of funding to projects developed by other young people. We visited a number of the projects which had developed as a result of the funding including; a dance school, paint ball and a car stripping business. We also visited a college, a youth centre, a local government office and camped out with Swedish scouts!

The visit was enjoyed by everyone and I am now in the process of evaluating it with the young people’s help. I will also be working with the young people on some ideas they had for developing their own rojects.
