Due to an increase in families we are looking for new Child Contact Centre Workers

Role: Contact Worker
Location: Leicester
Contract type: Permanent, 6 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays
Closing date: 18th September 2024

About the Role
The Child Contact Centre Worker role is key in
•    Operating child contact centre/s
•    Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
•    Providing effective reporting, monitoring, assessment and evaluation

Duties will include:
•    Safeguard children, young people and adults - access the organisational policies and  also the local safeguarding children arrangements.   
•    Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures and guidelines – including confidentiality, complaints and lone working
•    Support the processing of referrals
•    Carry out health and safety checks and risk assessments
•    Support the family’s understanding of the process
•    Ensure that the child/young person’s safety and wellbeing are paramount at all times
•    Communicate and engage with service users
•    Facilitate and encourage positive interaction and support the family with the care of the child eg nappy changing or feeding
•    Contribute to assessment and write reports as required
•    Support any volunteers
•    Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
