About the Role

  • You must have a big smile, that will make every child’s face light up, each and every day.
  • Throughout the course of a morning you will have many varied roles; if a child requests you to be a Disney princess, you will be the best princess you can be!
  • Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small humans is of the utmost importance.
  • The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune, in front of a crowd of tiny humans is essential!
  • You must have so much love to offer and big warm hugs, as and when required.
  • You must feel comfortable telling everybody in the same room as you, that you are going to the toilet!
  • Having eyes in the back of your head is of the utmost importance.
  • You must be comfortable with entering public places on your way home from work, with unknown substances on your clothing!
  • You must have the ability to read a story book upside down, with at least five interruptions per page!
  • Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.
  • And finally, you must be prepared to engage in lots of fun activities and be prepared to get messy! Your hair and nails will be hard to maintain, but it really is all worth it!

 

In your new role you will be:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Level 3 in childcare
  • Commitment to undertaking further training
  • DBS regulated check
  • Experience of delivering EYFS
  • Experience of working in a nursery environment
