About the Role

The main purpose of the role will be to:

  • Support the Manager and the setting in providing a high quality childcare provision
  • To work as part of a team
  • Key worker to number of identified children
  • Delivery of EYFS
  • Communicate effectively and share information with parents/carers and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the child
  • Implement systems to support transitions
  • Attend Training as and when needed
  • Attend Team days within the company

In your new role you will be:

  • Maintaining records that fulfil Ofsted requirements as laid out in the EYFS
  • Providing opportunities through well-resourced environments for children to learn and explore. 
  • Ensuring the safeguarding of children and staff within the setting in line with internal and LSCB guidelines
  • Completing day to day administration and record keeping
  • Observing children’s development and keeping records that meet each child’s needs
  • Attend staff meetings as required
  • Keeping children’s records up to day
  • Completing parents evenings 3 times a year
