About the Role

Role: Retail Assistant
Location: Second Chance, Children’s Links charity shop, 6 High Street Horncastle.
Contract type: Temporary 6 months post -possibly leading to longer
Hours: Must be able to work during shop opening times - Job share maybe available.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30am-4:30pm

Wednesday - CLOSED

Saturday - 9:30am-3pm


Rank: National minimum wage

The Role will involve working as a team in Children's Links charity shop.

We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills and who really enjoys working with the general public.

In this role you will:

  • Commit to Children’s Links values as they guide our thinking and our decision making.
  • Help and assist in the charity shop - Window displays, replenishing stock etc.
  • To conduct day to day administrative and operational tasks of the shop.
  • Welcoming customers and basic record keeping
  • Ensuring goods and equipment are clean and safety checked.
