Whole Team Day 2026: Celebrating Children's Links

On 1st September 2026, colleagues from across Children's Links came together for our annual Whole Team Day at the Legends Lounge at Lincoln City Football Club – and what a brilliant day it was!

Every year, Whole Team Day provides an opportunity for staff from our different services to meet and spend time together away from their usual day-to-day roles.

The morning began with a welcome from the Senior Management Team, followed by a ‘You Said, We Did’ presentation by Amy, which shared actions taken in response to feedback from our 2025 Staff Survey.

Throughout the day, colleagues took part in a variety of team-building activities. One particularly memorable challenge involved teams creating outfits from bin bags before showcasing their designs on the catwalk!

The event also included an informative session exploring the topic of toxic masculinity and the influence of the manosphere, helping to increase awareness and understanding of issues that can affect the young people and families we support.

A highlight of the day was the Children's Links Awards, which celebrated the dedication and achievements of colleagues across the organisation. It was wonderful to recognise the many individuals who go above and beyond to make a positive difference every day.

Alongside the more formal sessions, colleagues enjoyed a range of fun activities throughout the day – staff were invited to bring in childhood photographs and guess which colleague each picture belonged to, resulting in plenty of laughter!
